Day clinics are inclusive; including equipment: kayak, paddle, spray-skirt, PFD, helmet, wet suit, dry top, booties, *student assisted shuttles, ACA certified instructor; and a deli style lunch with choice of bottled water or Gatorade to drink.
*If a shuttle is required, they work like this: We all meet at a designated location (directions provided with your reservation). Students leave their cars, load equipment into the instructor's vehicle, drive to our site and proceed with our lesson format; in the event we are able to do some river practice which might entail a shuttle, we drive all student vehicles to the take out, load equipment into the instructors vehicle, drive to the put in the instructors vehicle, put on the river and proceed down stream in our lesson format; arriving at the take out at the end of the day. Students drive the instructor back to the put in to get their car at the end of the lesson.
Signing of a ‘liability waiver and assumption of risk form’ prior to beginning the course; is required to participate in all kayak clinics.
