"Sign me up for your next SWR class. I found
out the hard way what skills are necessary to maintain
a safe and fun river trip, be it class II or class
IV. We were boating on the East Carson with a group
of friends, and the basic skills I learned in your
kayak clinic paid off. My friends raft pinned on a
tree strainer and utilizing the skills you taught
me provided my ability to safely extract their boat
in minimal time without injury. What could have been
disaster turned into a positive lesson in boat extraction
and we completed our trip without any further difficulties.
